Gerry brings an amazing amount of experience, talent, and energy to the topic of branding. At times, the “preacher of branding” creates a revival atmosphere where I felt compelled to shout an “amen” back to the stage. Of particular note is his use of multiple current examples from some of the largest companies in the world … looking at their position within their market and how they have expertly steered their brands. His frequent references to other related books on the topic, most notably Blue Ocean Strategy (and a few others which I, frankly, was not familiar) – demonstrates his dedication to his craft and his vast knowledge about the topic.
